No problemo! My girlfriend transports her doublebass and amp in one of these.

I am all about cars. I collect them like you do guitars.
I had the 56 Chevy I mentioned (intro) over 15 years. I learned how to drive a stick in that heavy tank. Talk about fear on a hill. No better way to get your attitude adjusted. The best 'feel good' ride.
I got a second car for offroad fun. 1950 military Jeep 134F head orig. engine with Granny Tranny for $1000. Slow and sure - life size Tonka toy.
I added a '74 Dodge Polara Police CHP car for $400. only 50k miles on the 440 Mopar engine with a 4 barrell Rochester carb. Scarry fast gas guzzler.

The car I left town with: 1967 MGB-GT with spoke rims, completely restored I got for $1000. I never got to enjoy it but, my son did. Stowed it in a Uhaul truck and moved to Redondo Beach. I gave it to a very helpful friend who now shares 80+ acres in Malibu Hills with us.
The MGB will one day be electric. My current collection of vehicles will soon be Pimped up.
A 1983 BMW 528e, a 93 Buick Park Avenue Ultra Supercharged and an '87 Mercedes Benz 560SEL we picked up on Craigslist for $750 included new Cooper tires. Returning home in Benz. How am I doing?

Better yet, google ("car garden" Merkel) to see my friends 1500+ car musium in car&driver article.
I'm thinking photo op's: Mosrites in the Car Garden with Dana

That black T-Bird was positively delicious, thank you for sharing.

Personally, 'hate car payments and metro Chicago traffic and weather is awful on vehicles, so 'try to not love them too much. Rust, salt, dings, jerk drivers by the hundreds of thousand. Potholes which destroy wheels and alignment. An old Jeep Cherokee fits this picker perfectly.

Guitars are kept in much friendlier environments.

That said, 'droolingly covet a Hummer H1, cranberry red wagon. Basic wheels, no junk, 'do not even care if it has an AM radio.

And a 58-63 T-bird is a dream car....
