I think soaking the guard in coffee has the same effect in giving that aged appearance

Hmm, I read something in one of Dan Erlewine's books about aging plastic. I'll get my book and find the page.

Edit: Found it. Here's a quote right out of the book (They were talking about aging tuners here)

"I've tried stains, tea, and coffee to yellow them, but didn't get the results I wanted until I tried good ol' brown Kiwi shoe polish. I rub it into the knobs with a soft cloth, let dry for 20 minutes, then take off the excess with a clean paper towel"

This whole relic thing has gotten a little crazy, maybe with the reissue Challenger and Camaro Cars, one of the big three will try a road worn series of Autos. Maybe a '70 Duster with rusted quarter panels and half primered!!!!! :lol:
