Driving Guitars: The Music of The Ventures in the Sixties
By Malcolm Campbell and David Burke

From what I heard, it was released July, 28th.

It sounds like a great book. Can you tell us where can I get a copy? I just checked Amazon who does not carry this title.

Thanks,

Vincent, here's the link to the site where you can order the book. It's in England and they ship world wide. I had it posted here for a few weeks. It didn't appear that anyone was interested in it so I delete it when I was purging old posts with zero hits. Driving Guitars

Desert Surfer -> Unfortunately I don't have information where you can find the Driving Guitars book. They took orders in for some time at Twangsville and then ordered a small batch for those pre-orders.

But Dubtub already knew a company that sells them, you might want to try that one.
This concludes my report from outer space. Now, back to studio!

I actually laughed aloud when reading Walk-Don't Run...:

There usually is nothing to smile about when it comes to piracy in the music business. But the mistake that one asian company made when they misspelled "Love Potion #9" as "Love Position #9" is quite funny :D

I'm most of the way through reading Walk Don't Run. Not only is it a fascinating read on the music, but it gives a very good picture of life on the road.

Got my copy of the "Driving Guitars" book today. I find it really interesting, this is the perfect companion book to read while listening to the classic 60's recordings.

The book is quite small in size, does contain lots of photos (especially record covers), but they are black & white. So this book is more fun to read than watch :D

No, I don't... would love to see one :D I'm not sure if it was cd or vinyl.
