This thing looks as clean as my '65 Bandmaster that I've owned since new. Anybody else here love Fender amps as much as I do?

Rodrigo, did you see my Bandmaster at the link at the bottom of the picture? It's my Pride and Joy. Hey! Didn't Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble do that song.

Now you know where I got the alias dubtrub.

I´ve had this idea for a guitar with lipstick pups for ages... basically a jag / jmaster body, bridge and vibrato, plus three individually selectable GFS lipstick pickups. That´d be a killer for playing some Link Wray I suppose. 8-)

Count me in on Fender amps. I've been wantin' a vintage piggyback Tremolux or Bandmaster, but cannot justify it, especially now; when I'm not gigging.

I have 6 Fender amps in the house right now.
66 Deluxe Reverb
66 Princeton Reverb
68 or 69 Bassmen with drip edge moldings
72(I think) Twin Reverb
Stage 160-before all the effects crap was added
65 Twin Custom15

That's a great collection, Sleeper. I tried many times to win Princeton Reverb on eBay but never would pay the price they were skyrocketing to. I see that Fender has now reissued it for '08. See it here. Princeton Reverb Reissue

Strat-0, the way I justify another amp or guitar, it all has a different feel and sound. My amps and guitars change with the different styles of music I'm playing. I'm not giging anymore, at least for now, either. But if I decide, I like have plenty of option to fit the gig.

I hadn't played my Bandmaster in years until I teamed up with dp and reverbmike from Surfguitar 101. I really enjoyed breaking out the 'big guns'. Unfortunately our venture never blossomed as there were too many variables going on at the time. But is was fun playing the Bandmaster again. You can see from the photo in the link I posted at the bottom of that Bassman photo above, my Bandmaster is on a platform with rollers. It makes it easy to roll it in and out of the closet, so it get's more use now. Even at super low bed room volumes, the Bandmaster has a magical sound that I cannot achieve in any other amp. I thought my Vibroverb would meet the challenge but not so.

My advice is, life is too short, if you want it and can afford it, get it.

I had a dual showman that I had modded to sound like a mesa boogie dual rectifier. I loved that amp but I sold it to fund the tone master that I had then sold that to fund the many marshalls that I had. Right now I play through a Marshall JCM-900 dual reverb model through a behringer 4X12 cab. I used to be a big Sunn collector but sold them for the fenders and marshalls :D
