Watching El Tuce's collection makes me feel way less guilty of owning 'only' seven guitars myself :D
Very impressive Tommy! You do have them insured, of course!

As far as the tenors go, I don't really play either of them much. I just tune them like a 6 string minus the low E and the A. I had been trying to sell the Gretsch but was getting nothing but really low offers so I decided to just get the neck reset and hang onto it for now. I mostly just got the Wilshire one because of my obsession with the Coronets, Crestwoods, etc. That sweet color swayed me a bit as well.

Hey, Tommy--

What do you think of those reissue Epiphone Wilshire guitars?

I loved the one I had in the 1960s and have been on the verge of buying one of the reissues several times.

I've never played one so I can't really offer a great opinion. I did pick one up in a store once and kinda plinked a bit. It felt ok but the finish looked real cheesy. Two friends of mine have 'em and love 'em for whatever it's worth.

Hmm. The finish was my main concern.

I prefer a nitro finish for some reason, and I've seen a couple of those reissues refinished in nitro on eBay, but they went for more than I felt like paying.

Thanks for the info!

Sure thing! The cherry seems to be the worst looking of all of them.

wow what a unique collection. I had no idea that premier made stuff like that.
