My name's not there but I did find the name and pictures of an old schoolfriend of mine in South Africa. "Julian Laxton" was a Highschool class mate of mine in South Africa -early sixties!

Wow...there seems to be a web site for (bleep)-near everything. Thank you for the link.

Metro Chicago was home to many, many garage bands, of course a few made it big, like Styx, as well as the zillions who did not.

Interesting you bring up the concept tho; 'have not seen / head a real garage band in years during the hot times, summers in the city.

Noise ordinances? Playing into mixer and out of headphones? Bigger houses with basements?
