-- Hey paulzini, pm sent...
The gangster looks so frightening, with his luger in his hand
When he gets home to his children, he's a family man
But when it comes to the nitty-gritty, he can shove in his knife
Yes he really looks quite religious, he's been an outlaw all his life

I know I'm a bit late to this thread, haven't been on here in a long, long time.

The pickup that's on Elisha's guitar is the Mosrite pickup that they used on the dobro--or at least the surround.

RC told me that he was the one who made the pickups for the Mosrite Dobro models back in the day. Semie hired him as a jobber to do the pickups, there were some connection with the Dopyeras for the Dobro model, and the Dopyera Brothers were based in El Monte, CA not far away from RC's shop, that's how he got the job. That sounds like a big deal, until you realize that the total production on Mosrite dobro pickups was probably way less than a hundred pickups. They were super low output pickups, compared to the normal Mosrite super high-output pickups. RC had dozens, probably hundreds, of those pickup surrounds at his shop, and through the years he would wind coils for them and put them on his RC Allen guitars. That's what I would guess this is.

Hope that helps clear up the matter a bit.
